Idea: I went to a recent event in which a lecturer said that the best way to respond to the insults against Islam is through art. I was really inspired by this talk and hope to get Muslims to participate by submitting artwork.
Submissions should be of art, poetry, articles that relate to Islam. Since the movie and protests have just happened, it would be preferable that this relates all to reactions to recent events. However, since it just started I’m willing to accept anything (as long as it’s not offensive)!
Sign your submissions with your Name, Occupation, and an optional little blurb about yourself and explanation of the artwork. If you want to be anonymous that’s fine, but at least write a title or explanation for the artwork.
Also, anyone willing to help with creating a logo? That would be awesome!
