Doesn’t matter. Parents are going to say no because of the Visa issue, which we weren’t informed about until we met him. If it were someone that say my parents knew from childhood and happened to have a visa, the visa would be less of a problem. But knowing how many green-card marriages have ruined the lives of Muslim women that we know of, it’s not happening.
I’m not interested, especially by the way he talked there was something odd about him. I got a bad vibe from him. I just hate the part where we have to say no because I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
I told my parent’s that I’m going to start ‘dating’ guys in grad school, if I happen to be so lucky to find guys who like me, and they’re fine with that.
