Rishtaa’s Dad Just Called

They really-really like me…

I did not even speak to them during the lunch. The only time I spoke was when they asked for my name….

This is super fishy. He basically knows nothing about me, none of my interests, none of my thoughts… They don’t know that I don’t really speak Urdu. The guy is also on a H-1 visa, and my family suspects he’s looking for a green card marriage (it’s sadly very common, and has happened to family members.) The fact that they called so much when we were on vacation before I even met him kind of makes it seem like they are desperate. ..

The other thing is this guy is super-duper rich. So I do have a male cousin who is trying to get me to continue to pursue this rishtaa and hope for the best.

But as soon as I saw him I knew it wouldn’t work. I just didn’t like him from the beginning. He was a really nice guy, quite sweet, but he’s just not my type…

I’m getting bad vibes here.

I don’t want to meet him again :/
